Online evaluation, intervention & educational counselling now available!
Dr Schneider is pleased to announce that many of her services, including comprehensive pyschoeducational evaluation, are now available online via telepractice. Dr Schneider is currently taking appointments for both virtual and in-person sessions.
Dr Schneider provides psychoeducational evaluation and educational diagnostics using validated tests of achievement and cognitive abilities. Using these assessments, Dr Schneider is able to identify the presence of learning disorders (LDs) such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia; the presence of deficits in attention or executive functioning; the presence of oral language delays in school-age children; and the presence of giftedness or high-potential (HP) traits in twice-exceptional children. Many of of the assessments used by Dr Schneider can be administered via interactive tablet, easing the assessment experience for students.
Dr Schneider uses various sources of information, including work samples and data gathered from interviews with parents, teachers, and students, as well as the results of high quality assessments, to create recommendations to create psychoeducational evaluation reports and individualised education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique strengths and challenges. She also prepares individualised programs of education for homeschooled students. Dr Schneider provides reports and IEPs in both English and French and can order German and Italian translations.
Dr Schneider has a cabinet near the Vaud-Valais border, in Collonges, and a second office in Blonay, Vaud. She is also available, at a modest additional fee, to travel to international schools in Vaud and Valais to perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
